Antonija Radić (Split, 1992) graduated in Comparative Literature and Italian Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb, with master thesis on the translation and the traductological analysis of Tiziano Scarpa’s novel Stabat Mater. Her so far published translations include a journalistic account of the Syrian war by the Italian journalist Francesca Borri (Sirijska prašina, Sandorf, 2017) ,the interview with the renowned Italian cartoonist and author, Max Bunker (Halo Bing, Sandorf, 2019) and the Strega-nominated literary fiction Addio fantasmi by Nadia Terranova (Zbogom duhovi, Fraktura, 2021). In 2021, her translation of the Croatian edition of Marco Santagata’s Romanzo della sua vita, a biography of Dante Alighieri, was published by Sandorf. Antonija Radić participated in several editions of Translab, a project organized by the Italian Institute for Culture and dedicated to the literary translation. She also translated short stories for the LitLink Festival and the Festival of the European Short Story. She is currently working as a literary agent.
